What is Gen V about?

Gen V takes the satirical universe of The Boys and transplants it onto a college campus, which turns out to be a sharper fit than it might sound. Jaz Sinclair carries the show as Marie Moreau, a blood-manipulating scholarship student trying to rise through a system that has already decided who matters. She is genuinely watchable, and the supporting cast is strong enough that the ensemble feels like an ensemble rather than a lead surrounded by props. The tone lands somewhere between dark satire and body-horror, with the show leaning into what it means to have powers that are messy, painful, or unglamorous.
