What is Power Book II: Ghost about?

Power Book II: Ghost picks up where the original series ended and asks whether Tariq St. Patrick can actually escape his father's shadow, or if he's just deeper in it than he realizes. The show follows him as a college student trying to distance himself from the drug empire that killed his family, except he keeps getting pulled back in to protect his mother and siblings.
