She decides to track down her perhaps-nonexistent power with the help of a chaotic found family that includes Carrie, who has visions; Kash, who can talk to ghosts; and Jizzlord, who is exactly as he sounds. The show lets Jen's powerlessness become the actual plot, not a prologue to her becoming special.

The tone shifts constantly, sometimes within the same scene. One moment you're watching a conversation about anxiety and belonging; the next, someone's ghost friend is causing mayhem or a supernatural investigation goes sideways in ways that are genuinely funny because they're absurd.
