Rose McIver and Utkarsh Ambudkar are warm and funny as the central couple, but the ghosts are the reason to keep watching, and the show knows it.
Critics were warmer on it than many expected, and audiences responded well enough to make it one of CBS's more reliable comedies in recent years.
