It's a show that asks viewers to occupy the disorientation of waking up to a life that looks right but feels fundamentally wrong.

The eight-episode season moves with a particular kind of creeping dread. Rather than exploding into science-fiction spectacle, it tends toward the domestic and psychological. The mystery deepens slowly across conversations, glitching memories, and the growing distance between Jo and the people who claim to know her. Jonathan Banks appears as a retired astronaut who understands that something is genuinely off, lending the show a grounded quality even as its premise tips toward the metaphysical. There's something almost Kafkaesque about watching Rapace navigate a world that gaslights her through normalcy.

Critical reception was mixed. Some praised the atmospheric tension and Rapace's exhausted performance, finding the show's commitment to slow-burn mystery appealing. Others felt the pacing strangled momentum, with explanations arriving too late or the central conceit stretching too thin across eight hours.
