It's a slow-burn drama, not a thriller, which suits Huxley's source material better than faster-paced adaptations might have. The tone walks a careful line between seduction and critique, making you understand why people would choose this system even as the narrative shows you its cost.

The show premiered to mixed-to-positive viewer response but failed to find its audience on Peacock.
