Predictive Logic Analysis
BE@RBRICK launched on Apple TV as a 13-episode animated series in March 2025, but has received almost no renewal attention since its premiere date. The show's Trakt active-watcher count sits at just 48, which is very low for a network series, and while momentum is described as steady, that baseline is weak. Wikipedia pageview interest is falling, suggesting audience curiosity has waned post-launch. The toy and designer-character property behind BE@RBRICK has significant brand recognition in Japan and Asia, but Apple TV has shown little patience with niche or low-viewership properties in animation.
Apple TV+ typically makes renewal decisions within 3 to 6 months of a series premiere for its originals. A 17-month gap with no renewal signal is a strong negative indicator on a streamer platform, where series are often greenlit for multiple seasons upfront or cancelled swiftly if viewership misses targets. The absence of any renewal announcement, production update, or casting news in nearly a year and a half suggests Apple TV has deprioritized the show. Without explicit cancellation coverage, it is difficult to be certain, but the silence combined with low engagement metrics points toward quiet cancellation or indefinite shelving.
What is BE@RBRICK about?
BE@RBRICK arrives as an animated celebration of creative rebellion, following a group of young friends who dare to challenge the rigid expectations of their predetermined society. The show's central hook taps into a timeless yearning: the desire to forge your own path when the world insists you follow an assigned one. Through the lens of a budding musician and her bandmates, the series explores what it takes to pursue artistic passion in a world designed to suppress it, making it particularly resonant for viewers navigating their own identity and aspirations during formative years.
The show strikes a vibrant balance between accessible family entertainment and genuine emotional stakes. Created by Meghan McCarthy, whose background in character-driven comedy brings depth to what could easily be a surface-level premise, BE@RBRICK grounds its fantastical setting in authentic feelings of doubt, friendship, and determination. The animation style and musical elements position it as more than a standard kids' show, giving it the kind of layered appeal that can engage both children discovering themselves and parents recognizing the universal struggle for authenticity.
Launching in March 2025 as an Apple TV exclusive, BE@RBRICK joins a growing slate of original animated content competing for family audiences in the streaming space. Its tagline, "Paint your own destiny," distills the show's core message into something that speaks directly to the empowerment narrative at its heart, offering viewers both entertainment and inspiration to question the roles they've been assigned.

Themes
Is BE@RBRICK renewed or cancelled?
Working toward renewal
No explicit cancellation statement from Apple TV, leaving small possibility of future revival
Working against it
17 months since premiere with zero renewal announcement or production update
Apple TV+ cancels underperforming shows quickly; long silence is typical precursor to quiet cancellation
Very low Trakt active-watcher count (48) indicates minimal sustained audience
Falling Wikipedia pageview trend shows declining audience interest post-launch
BE@RBRICK is a toy and designer-character IP with niche appeal, not a broad-audience show
BE@RBRICK Season 2 Release Date
No second season has been announced, and given the 17-month gap since the premiere with no renewal signals, a next season is not in active production or planning at this time. If Apple TV were to reverse course and greenlight a second season now, production would likely take 12 to 18 months, pushing any release well into 2027 or beyond. That timeline seems improbable given the lack of momentum and network interest. The show appears to be dormant or cancelled.
