Anna Cathcart's Kitty Song Covey first appeared as a side character in the To All the Boys I've Loved Before film series, a cupid-in-training who was too young to have a real storyline of her own. XO, Kitty gives her that storyline, transplanting her to Seoul's Korean International School, where she arrives to be with her long-distance boyfriend and quickly discovers that the gap between arranging other people's love lives and managing your own is much wider than she imagined.
