Netflix's live-action Cowboy Bebop had the hardest job in Hollywood: translating one of anime's most beloved properties into flesh and blood without suffocating what made the original work. The show assembles John Cho, Mustafa Shakir, and Daniella Pineda as the crew of the Bebop, three broke bounty hunters drifting through a retrofuturistic solar system, taking whatever jobs keep them fed.
