What is Norsemen about?

Norsemen arrives as a comedy that keeps undermining itself with genuine stakes. The show follows a Viking village where the jarl schemes against his rivals, a slave dreams of freedom, and everyone argues about whether innovation is progress or ruin. What makes it work is the willingness to let scenes breathe as drama before the joke lands, and sometimes to let the joke land before things get serious again.
