Impractical Jokers has built its entire run on a simple premise: four guys from Staten Island dare each other to do increasingly uncomfortable things in front of strangers, and a hidden camera captures the results. The guys lose challenges, and then they do something stupid—convince a deli clerk to let them work the register, interrupt a book club, stand in a crowded subway car making strange announcements.
