Arlete Sales Lopes (Paudalho, June 17, 1938) is a Brazilian actress. Well-known for being one of the pioneers of Brazilian television drama, she began her prolific career in the 1950s, becoming, over the years, a celebrated figure in her profession. Salles has won numerous awards, most notably a Grande Otelo Award, an APCA Award, and two Prêmio Qualidade Brasil Awards, in addition to being honored with the prestigious Troféu Mário Lago for her artistic contribution.Read full biography
